Quick Vacation

We just got back from a short vacation. Geoff ended up going with us; although, he spent some of his time in the lobby or on a park bench reading papers and doing research. While we were in Branson we stayed with Lynn and Michelle Brown. We spent time with them at White Water and Silver Dollar City, and saw the Rankin Brothers at the Lawrence Welk Theater. Our day at White Water got cut short due to a thunderstorm, otherwise, we really enjoyed our time. We all wished it could have been a day longer.

Before our trip to Branson, we visited family in Rolla and Eminence. We managed to go canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, and see an outdooor movie. It was a great time with family.

As for adoption news, we renewed our fingerprint documentation. Other than that, we are still waiting.

July update

Nothing new to report. We still expect to get a court date in late August. Our finger prints for INS expire Sept. 1st. So we go and get re-finger printed on the 24th of this month. In the mean time, we are taking a trip to Missouri to visit family and go canoeing. The kids and I plan to take a short trip to Branson for a couple of days to give Geoff more time to do some research.

Disappointing News

We finally got an answer to why we don't have a court date yet. The Judges are going on summer vacations. So now they estimate that we should receive a court date in late August. Please keep us in your prayers, this was very disappointing news for us and the kids.
